Schoharie County is farm country about 45 minutes west of Albany. The Schoharie Valley is lined with farm stands and small villages, Cobleskill is the county's largest village and home to SUNY Cobleskill, and the southern towns rise into the edge of the Catskills. Homes here often come with more land for the money than anywhere closer to Albany.
